Workshop location

The Workshop will be held in the Imperatore Room of the Starhotels Savoia Excelsior Palace in Trieste, Riva del Mandracchio, 4.
Located just a short distance from the historical center, overlooking the sea and close to Unità d'Italia square, just a few hundred metres from the main railway station and the air terminal.

From the Central Railway Station and the air terminal to the Starhotels Savoia Excelsior Palace (800 m), take bus Line n. 8 and get off at the Riva del Mandracchio stop.

How to reach Trieste by Train

Trieste is connected to the most important Italian towns as well as with several european Capitals. The Stazione Centrale Rail Station is located near the centre of the town.

The Ronchi dei Legionari international airport is located 35 km (22 miles) far from Trieste and it is connected to the town via Bus Line n. 51 (Bus Terminal: Piazza Libertà, adjacent to the rail Station).

The Venice (Marco Polo) international airport is 150 km (94 miles) far from Trieste. Bus lines and shuttles connect the airport to the Venezia-Mestre Rail Station. Direct trains connect Venezia-Mestre to Trieste.

How to reach Trieste by Car

Trieste is joined by the A4 highway to the Italian and European highways network.

Take the A4 motorway from Venice-Mestre or the A2 motorway from Tarvisio-Austria. Use the Lisert exit. Follow signs for Sistiana-Strada Costiera, then take route SS 14, a panoramic road leading directly to the city centre (km. 18).
Alternatively, take the Prosecco exit (immediately after the tunnel) and continue towards Opicina. From the crossroads turn right and continue down towards Trieste.

Where to park?

In the city centre, we recommend using metered parking spaces between 8.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Prepaid cards are available. Alternatively, indoor parking facilities can be found at:
